純粋な伝統建築とは異なり、窓などが洋風に設えられた近代の数奇屋風建築といった趣です。
外部と内部のレイヤーがとても気持ちの良い建築でした。
I visited the Former Asakura Residence in Sarugakucho, Shibuya, Tokyo.
Built in 1919, it is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
Rather than being a purely traditional Japanese building, it has the character of a modern sukiya-style residence, incorporating Western elements such as its windows.
The layering between the exterior and interior spaces was particularly pleasant and beautifully executed.
