東京都現代美術館で開催されていた、坂本龍一さんの展覧会「音を視る 時を聴く」に行ってきました。
自分には難解でしたが、ただただ美しく、エネルギーに圧倒されました。映像と音楽、インスタレーションを拝見し、5時間くらい美術館に居ました。
音と時間と、現実に何かに対峙する姿勢を問いかけられた気がして背筋が伸びました。
些末なことですが、ペッパーズ・ゴーストの実物を初めて拝見しました。
I visited “seeing sound, hearing time,” an exhibition by Ryuichi Sakamoto held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.
Although I found the exhibition challenging to fully grasp, I was simply overwhelmed by its beauty and energy. I spent about five hours in the museum experiencing the video works, music, and installations.
The exhibition seemed to ask fundamental questions about sound, time, and how we confront reality itself. It left me feeling both inspired and humbled.
On a more minor note, it was my first time seeing a Pepper’s Ghost illusion in person.
